How does the iPad and Stylus compare to a Cintiq? Would you recommend that combo for an ameteur trying to possibly become more of a professional? That ball tip on the stylus looks like it would be hard to use. Your art looks amazing, by the way. And I look forward to more EXIT! :)
It’s kind of like a rubber bubble at the tip. It’s a bit squishy. Just like every medium it takes time to learn. If you can afford a cintiq go for it, I don’t have one but I’ve used the one my bro Andrew Green has and it’s amazing.
I use my iPad for sketching concepts and sometimes more finished illustrations, but it’s always low res. So it’s good for sketching and learning but you won’t be able to do legit, professions print work on it, for now.
